Meet Hershey, a 1.5 -year-old male Chocolate Lab/Pitbull Mix.
Hershey arrived at the shelter as a stray along side his brother, Cadbury. Hershey is a friendly, active dog who would love to find his forever home! Him and his brother have kept their kennels clean so we believe they might be potty trained. These dogs do not need to be adopted together but we would be happy to see them go together.
We always recommend testing all our dogs with any other potential family members prior to adoption to ensure the best outcome for all!
Come meet Hershey today, he is located at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org and a staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don't Shop.
