Meet Dale, a 2-year-old male Labrador Retriever mix.
Dale's ideal home would be with a family who could spend time training him and where he would be the only dog. At this time, we do not recommend Dale to be placed into a home with cats as he gets very excited and vocal around them. He comes right up to the front of his kennel for pets and sits on command when out for walks. Dale weighs 65 pounds and is a large breed dog so please take that into consideration if you are interested in adopting him. We always recommend testing all our dogs with any other potential family members prior to adoption to ensure the best outcome for all!
Come meet Dale today, he is currently located at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter.
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
